Meet Mahogani Phreedom
I am Mahogani Phreedom—founder of The Reiki Klubhouse, Sacred Roots Womb Temple, and Phreedom Light Integrative Reiki.
I am a born seer, Reiki Master Teacher, Clinical Massage Therapist, Womb Priestess, Afro-Indigenous Full-Spectrum Doula, spiritual mentor, and community mother. Rooted in Chicago’s South Side and raised within a lineage of faith, service, and spiritual discernment, I have devoted my path to helping others reconnect with their bodies, honor their sacred transitions, and remember the wisdom already living within them.
My work brings together embodied Reiki, therapeutic bodywork, ancestral remembrance, womb-centered care, spiritual counsel, birthwork, herbal traditions, sound, ceremony, and community healing. Every offering is held with intention, integrity, and reverence for the whole person.
I first had to tend to my own healing so that I could guide others in theirs, nurture our communities into confident healers, and carry this medicine forward in service to the world.
I believe healing is never ours alone. When one of us remembers, something within the collective is restored. When one of us heals, that medicine reaches backward toward our ancestors and forward toward the generations yet to come.

My conscious journey as a Reiki practitioner began more than sixteen years ago, though my relationship with Spirit, intuition, healing, and the unseen has been with me for as long as I can remember. Sixteen years marks the point when what I had always sensed, known, and carried began to receive structure, language, initiation, and lineage.
Since then, I have sat at the feet of many teachers, trained with Reiki Masters, received initiation through multiple healing traditions, and deepened my sacred practice through study, service, and lived experience.
My path includes Usui, Shamanic, Kemetic, Crystal, and Somatic Reiki; clinical therapeutic bodywork; Womb Priestess, sound healing; spiritual and ancestral care; service as an Afro-Indigenous full-spectrum birth doula certified by Indigenous Birthworkers; and Kemetic Yoga teacher training under Master Yirser Ra Hotep, creator of the YogaSkills Method™ and a pioneering teacher of Kemetic Yoga.
Not all of my teachers have had physical bodies. I have also been guided through dreams, prayer, spiritual downloads, ancestral remembrance, symbols, revelation, and direct communion with Spirit.
Some teachings came through formal study.
Some came through lived experience.
Some came through ancestral remembrance.
Together, they have shaped the healer, teacher, spiritual doula, and community mother I am becoming—and the sacred service I continue to offer.
